Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs is being removed from the commissioner's exempt list, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Jacobs, who was placed on the list on August 30 following a May arrest in Wisconsin, will officially come off the list on Monday. He is expected to be eligible to play in Week 7 against the Detroit Lions on October 25.
On September 10, Jacobs pleaded no contest to battery and criminal destruction of property charges, receiving a $1,000 fine and a deferred judgment agreement. The NFL's personal conduct policy investigation remains open, but the six games Jacobs has already missed would count toward any potential future league suspension.
