Jonathon Cooper will likely be back next weekend for the Denver Broncos. It'll help the team but don't think about why he was out.

Denver Broncos edge rusher Jonathon Cooper has been removed from the Commissioner's Exempt List and is expected to return for Week 7 against the Arizona Cardinals. Rich Kurtzman notes that while Cooper's return enhances Denver's pass rush, serious concerns remain regarding his off-field conduct following two offseason arrests for domestic violence and violating a protective order.
Kurtzman argues that fans will likely compartmentalize Cooper's legal troubles once he returns to make plays on the field. Cooper's court proceedings have reportedly been postponed to March 2027, allowing him to rejoin a 4-2 Broncos squad dealing with a recent injury to pass rusher Jonah Elliss.
