While Detroit Red Wings forward Lucas Raymond is still searching for his first goal of the season, the confidence that's made him one of their top forwards hasn't wavered.

Detroit Red Wings forward Lucas Raymond remains confident despite going without a goal through the first seven games of the season. The team is preparing to host the San Jose Sharks following a 2-1 victory over the Philadelphia Flyers, and both Raymond and team leadership expect his scoring touch to return soon as he continues generating quality offensive chances.
Teammate Alex DeBrincat and head coach Todd McLellan expressed full support for Raymond, noting that similar early-season droughts have occurred before without derailing top scorers. McLellan acknowledged minor frustration but emphasized that Raymond is still finding dangerous scoring positions and that the coaching staff will continue working with him to break through.
