"I think we ended up drawing the game due to the small mistakes," Bangladesh captain Shanto says after Abu Dhabi draw

Bangladesh captain Najmul Hossain Shanto stated that his team should have taken all ten wickets after drawing against Afghanistan in Abu Dhabi. Afghanistan batted across 142 fourth-innings overs to finish eight wickets down. Shanto attributed the missed victory to several small fielding errors on the final day, including a dropped catch, a missed stumping, and a failed run-out opportunity.
Despite the disappointing result, Shanto credited the bowlers for their persistent work on an unresponsive pitch. He praised Afghanistan batter Sediqullah Atal for his century, as well as player-of-the-match Litton Das, who scored a century, a fifty, and executed nine dismissals as wicketkeeper.
