Giannis Antetokounmpo is finding his comfort and fit with the Miami Heat as the upcoming regular season approaches. Although he sat out Friday's preseason finale, Antetokounmpo recorded 20 points, 15 rebounds, and nine assists in 24 minutes against the Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday. He expressed that playing more alongside his new teammates is naturally increasing his comfort level.
To accommodate Antetokounmpo's skillset, the Heat are tailoring their approach by surrounding him with active cutters and perimeter shooters. Guard Davion Mitchell highlighted that the team is focused on providing optimal spacing and off-ball movement, allowing Antetokounmpo to capitalize on his passing ability when defenses collapse into the lane.
