Despite a strong road effort, the Wolf Pack couldn't find two points in the Queen City.

The Hartford Wolf Pack were defeated 4-2 by the Charlotte Checkers at Bojangles Coliseum on Saturday night, completing a weekend sweep for the home team. Charlotte took an early 2-0 lead through Brett Chorske and Tobias Björnfot before Hartford rallied with power-play goals from Jaroslav Chmelař and Liam Greentree to tie the game at 2-2 in the second period.
Charlotte reclaimed the lead midway through the second period courtesy of Jack Devine, and Angus Crookshank sealed the victory with a third-period power-play goal. Checkers goaltender Cooper Black repelled Hartford's late push, stopping 15 third-period shots as Charlotte survived a 35-30 shot deficit to claim the win.
