Writing for Managing Madrid, Juninho previews Real Madrid's upcoming La Liga fixture against Sevilla as the club seeks to keep pace with league leaders Barcelona. The author highlights that Real Madrid enters the match without Vinicius Jr., Rodrygo, and Ferland Mendy, while Sevilla currently sits fifth in the league standings with 14 points.
The author shares tactical opinions, expecting manager Jose Mourinho to field a standard 4-2-3-1 formation with minimal squad rotation. Juninho advocates for increased playing time for Endrick and Espi in attack, while analyzing the defensive rationale behind continuing with an Aurelien Tchouameni and Federico Valverde midfield double pivot.
