Colorado Avalanche forwards Zachary L'Heureux, Nic Roy, and Logan O'Connor will not travel for the team's upcoming two-game road trip to face Philadelphia and New Jersey. The trio will remain in Denver to skate with skills coach Mark Popovic as the team departs Sunday. Head coach Jared Bednar noted that L'Heureux and Roy remain sidelined with injuries, with uncertain return timelines falling between day-to-day and week-to-week.
While O'Connor is healthy after recovering from an injury and taking personal leave, he remains on long-term injured reserve for salary cap purposes. O'Connor must fulfill the minimum requirement of 10 games or 24 days on LTIR before returning. Bednar expects O'Connor to be eligible and ready to return next Friday against the Tampa Bay Lightning.
