The Tampa Bay Rays defeated the Cleveland Guardians 7-3 in Game 4 at Progressive Field on Saturday to tie the American League Championship Series at 2-2. Cleveland initially took a lead in the first inning on a Chase DeLauter RBI single, but Tampa Bay pulled ahead with a sixth-inning Junior Caminero double and a three-run seventh inning.
Despite a seventh-inning Cleveland rally featuring a solo home run from Travis Bazzana, Yandy Diaz sealed the Rays' victory with a two-run homer in the ninth off Matt Festa. The best-of-seven series continues with Game 5 on Sunday, where Parker Messick is expected to start for the Guardians.
