FOX Sports' Tom Rinaldi talked to Charley Steiner, the Dodgers’ longtime radio play-by-play man, about returning from a battle with cancer to call the team’s home playoff games this postseason.

Longtime Los Angeles Dodgers radio broadcaster Charley Steiner has returned to call home playoff games following a battle with cancer. The 77-year-old broadcaster, who has spent 22 seasons with the team, is calling games during the 2026 postseason, including Game 3 of the National League Championship Series against the Milwaukee Brewers.
Steiner's diagnosis in 2024 led to severe back fractures and a 50-pound weight loss before his cancer went into remission late that year. After gradually increasing his workload and calling 10 full regular-season games, Steiner fulfilled his lifelong goal of returning to the Dodgers broadcast booth.
