The Premier League leaders aim to bounce back after a blow in the Champions League at the hands of Paris Saint-Germain, with Maresca sharing his views on the game with Guardiola in the aftermath

Manchester City manager Enzo Maresca revealed that he met with predecessor Pep Guardiola at the Etihad Stadium following City's Champions League defeat to Paris Saint-Germain. Guardiola attended the match to show support in the wake of an independent commission's guilty verdict regarding 115 financial charges. Maresca noted that Guardiola was positive about the performance and emphasized that the Etihad will always be Guardiola's home.
Maresca also addressed the club's wider situation, affirming that his trust in Manchester City remains at 100 percent despite external scrutiny. Turning his focus back to the Premier League ahead of their clash with Ipswich, Maresca expressed determination to extend City's lead at the top of the table to six points.
