Phil Foden scored his first goal since last December in Manchester City's Premier League win over Ipswich Town

Alex James writes that Phil Foden showed encouraging signs of revitalizing his Manchester City form after scoring in his return against Ipswich Town. Returning from a suspension picked up against Manchester United a month earlier, the 26-year-old playmaker netted his first goal for City in more than ten months.
Foden celebrated his goal by thanking assist-provider Jeremy Doku and pointing to the club badge in front of the home supporters. James highlights that while the performance may not immediately displace Rayan Cherki in the lineup, Foden's renewed freedom and connection with fans suggest a promising return to form ahead of City's upcoming Champions League match against AEK Athens.
