Kim Hellberg pulled no punches when analysing Middlesbrough's defending in the Cardiff City draw

Kim Hellberg lamented Middlesbrough's defensive record after Boro fought back from a two-goal deficit to draw with Cardiff City at the Riverside. Hellberg described it as unheard of that his team has conceded eight goals from just 15 shots on target across five matches, highlighting the punishing efficiency of opponents despite limited chances.
Cardiff scored twice in the first half through Jack Moylan and Ollie Tanner following defensive lapses involving Riley McGree, Neto Borges, Aidan Morris, and Adilson Malanda. Hellberg noted that while the defending was sloppy, he does not blame goalkeeper Radek Vitek, as Boro prepare for Friday's match against Bolton Wanderers.
