Celtic manager Martin O'Neill has confirmed that defender Cameron Carter-Vickers will miss Sunday's Scottish Premiership match against Hearts and the upcoming Europa League fixture with Celta Vigo. Carter-Vickers continues to recover from a hamstring strain that previously sidelined him against Motherwell and Benfica. O'Neill indicated that the earliest the center-back might return to action is next week's match against Hibernian.
Meanwhile, Mika Baur remains a potential doubt after suffering a dead leg during Celtic's 4-1 defeat in Lisbon against Benfica. Baur was replaced by Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain before the hour mark in that match, and O'Neill noted the club is evaluating his fitness ahead of the Hearts clash.
