Reaction from match-winner Alexander Isak after his goal secured a hard-fought 2-1 triumph for Liverpool at Brentford on Saturday
Alexander Isak discussed his winning goal and revealed he was screaming from the bench for Liverpool to manage the game. Liverpool secured a 2-1 comeback victory over Brentford at the Gtech Community Stadium, recovering from an early Keane Lewis-Potter goal. Victor Munoz leveled the score before Isak converted Bradley Barcola's knock-down in the 70th minute to net his fifth goal of the season.
Brentford were reduced to nine men following red cards for Yehor Yarmoliuk and Vitaly Janelt. Isak explained that concentration was crucial against a deep defense, admitting substitute players were urging the team to retain possession safely in the closing stages.
