Bleacher Report Predicts Dolphins Will Select Quarterback in 2027 NFL Mock Draft

Bleacher Report draft analyst Brent Sobleski projected the Miami Dolphins to select Oklahoma State quarterback Drew Mestemaker with the third overall pick in a 2027 NFL mock draft. The projection suggests Miami could target a new franchise passer to potentially replace Malik Willis, with the Dolphins offense struggling significantly through the first five weeks of the season.

Mestemaker previously excelled at North Texas, throwing for 4,379 yards and 34 touchdowns in 2025 before transferring to Oklahoma State to reunite with head coach Eric Morris. While analysts praise his arm talent, accuracy, and athleticism, scouting reports note that he still needs to improve his processing and add functional weight.
