The Miami Dolphins offense continues to struggle when it matters, but the tight end room could provide the boost they need.

Brian Miller of Phin Phanatic argues that Miami Dolphins quarterback Malik Willis must utilize his tight ends more effectively following the team's bye week. Miller writes that five weeks into the 2026 season, Willis exhibits decision-making and trust issues, frequently delaying throws to open receivers and focusing on contested passes rather than easier underneath options.
Miami's tight ends have generated only 16 of the offense's 73 receptions this season. Greg Dulcich has recorded 13 receptions on 17 targets for 128 yards across 68% of offensive snaps, while rookie Will Kacmarek has three catches. Miller emphasizes that both Willis and offensive coordinator Bobby Slowik are missing key offensive opportunities.
