Adam Guillen of MMA Mania identified Mike Malott as the biggest winner and Nate Landwehr as the biggest loser from UFC Edmonton. In the main event, Malott secured a second-round knockout victory against Joaquin Buckley in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, marking his fifth consecutive win. Meanwhile, Landwehr suffered his fourth straight defeat after being knocked out by Mandel Nallo in the second round.
Guillen also highlighted Cristian Perez and Jasmine Jasudavicius as runners-up for top honors. Perez delivered a 27-second knockout over Kyle Nelson in his Octagon debut, while Jasudavicius earned a major upset by defeating third-ranked flyweight Erin Blanchfield via unanimous decision. Guillen suggested that Landwehr's UFC tenure could end following this latest setback.
