David Silva spent 10 years at Manchester City between 2010 and 2020
Former Manchester City playmaker David Silva has come out of retirement to sign with Hong Kong Premier League side Supreme Sha Tin. The 40-year-old former Spain midfielder has reportedly agreed to a short-term deal with the newly promoted club, marking a surprise return to professional football after stepping away from the sport following a severe knee injury in 2023.
Silva expressed excitement about experiencing Hong Kong's culture and football scene ahead of his arrival to begin training. Supreme Sha Tin confirmed Silva will work toward peak fitness before making his debut, with the club scheduled to play Hong Kong Football Club on October 18.
