Pittsburgh Steelers tight end Pat Freiermuth appears likely to suit up for Sunday’s Week 6 contest against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers despite a late addition to the injury report.
Pittsburgh Steelers tight end Pat Freiermuth is expected to play against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday despite being listed as questionable with a late calf injury. NFL insider Ian Rapoport reported that the Steelers remain optimistic about his availability for the Week 6 matchup at Raymond James Stadium.
Freiermuth's expected presence provides a major boost for quarterback Aaron Rodgers, especially with wide receivers Michael Pittman Jr., Roman Wilson, and Ben Skowronek ruled out. Through five games, Freiermuth has tallied 19 receptions for 169 yards and a team-high four touchdowns.
