Allen Graves has had a bit of a rough outing in the Raptors’ preseason games, but his coach sees things as going all according to plan. In two games played, the forward has averaged just over 19 minutes of playing…

Toronto Raptors head coach Darko Rajaković expressed strong support for rookie forward Allen Graves despite his offensive struggles in the preseason. Speaking to reporters on October 14, Rajaković emphasized that he does not care if the shots fall, urging Graves to continue taking open looks and even warning that he would bench the rookie if he hesitates to shoot.
Graves has experienced shooting difficulties across his first two preseason appearances, shooting 25 percent from the field and just over nine percent from three-point range. Rajaković framed the rookie's missed shots and foul trouble as valuable developmental milestones as he adapts to playing in front of home crowds.
