Washington Wizards rookie AJ Dybantsa rolled his left ankle during the second quarter of Friday's preseason finale against the New Orleans Pelicans. Wizards coach Brian Keefe described the injury as a minor sprain, though the first overall pick will undergo further evaluation to determine his availability for the regular season opener against Milwaukee on Wednesday.
Dybantsa scored 12 points in 15 minutes before limping off to the locker room. The former BYU forward scored in double figures in all four preseason games and is projected to start at small forward for Washington.
