Breiden Fehoko, who won the national championship with LSU, has criticised legendary college coach Nick Saban for his recent statements about college football.
Former LSU national champion Breiden Fehoko publicly criticized legendary coach Nick Saban on social media for his stance on college football. Fehoko called out Saban after the former Alabama coach argued on College GameDay against expanding the College Football Playoff to 24 teams, stating that not enough programs deserve a spot.
Fehoko accused Saban of paying players prior to the NIL era and alleged that the arrival of NIL leveled the playing field and forced him into retirement. Saban, who retired in 2024, has been an outspoken advocate for regulating NIL and supported the Protect College Sports Act.
