Taskin has bemoaned Bangladesh's "noticeable lack of game awareness" after their defeat to Zimbabwe

Taskin Ahmed stated that Bangladesh suffered from a noticeable lack of game awareness during their 99-run loss to Zimbabwe in the UAE tri-series in Abu Dhabi. Chasing 272 to win, Bangladesh were bowled out for 172 after suffering a major batting collapse following the dismissal of Tanzid Hasan.
Taskin described the defeat as a reality check, urging the batting unit to quickly address inconsistencies and build partnerships under pressure. Bangladesh played without injured captain Litton Das and allrounder Mehidy Hasan Miraz, who missed the game due to a fever.
