The 2025 second-round pick has thrown for 1,299 yards with nine touchdowns and five interceptions in five games.

New Orleans Saints quarterback Tyler Shough is playing against the New York Giants on Sunday despite suffering two broken bones in his non-throwing left hand. The injury occurred during a Monday Night Football loss to the Atlanta Falcons on Oct. 5. Although he practiced fully and was omitted from the official injury report, Shough wore a protective glove with two fingers taped together during pregame warmups.
Shough played through the injury the previous week in a 23-13 loss to the Minnesota Vikings, where he adjusted by handing off exclusively with his right hand. Through five games, the second-year quarterback has thrown for 1,299 yards, nine touchdowns, and five interceptions as the Saints hold a 1-4 record heading into Sunday.
