It appears Liverpool are ready to cancel any move for Lamine Camara. They're heading towards an £80m deal instead.
Liverpool may drop their reported pursuit of AS Monaco midfielder Lamine Camara in favor of signing AFC Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott. According to Sky Sports, Bournemouth are reportedly open to selling Scott for around £80m, potentially as early as the January transfer window as he approaches the final 18 months of his contract.
Anfield Watch argues that while Camara boasts superior per-90 metrics in Ligue 1, Scott's proven durability and homegrown status in the Premier League could sway Liverpool. Journalist Ben Jacobs previously reported Liverpool had reached out regarding Camara after Chelsea's late summer move fell through.
