Arsenal have confirmed the passing of former board member, club secretary, and Life President Ken Friar OBE at the age of 92. Friar spent over seven decades serving the club in various instrumental capacities.
His association with Arsenal began in 1945 as an 11-year-old messenger under manager George Allison. Across roughly nine decades of involvement, he played a crucial role in club operations, including helping drive the transition to Emirates Stadium, and Arsenal are set to wear black armbands against Lille in his memory.
