The 2002 World Cup winner and former Ballon d’Or recipient will make his long-awaited debut on 15 November…
Brazilian football icon Ronaldinho is set to make a shock return to professional football by debuting for Italian Serie C club Ravenna on November 15 against Forli. The 46-year-old former Ballon d'Or and 2002 World Cup winner completed a surprising move to the Italian third-tier side in June, more than ten years after retiring.
Ronaldinho last played professionally in 2015 for Brazilian side Fluminense. Ravenna, currently sitting second in their Serie C group, is led by president Ignazio Cipriani, who expressed his dream of seeing the former Barcelona and AC Milan star score the final goal of his career at Stadio Bruno Benelli.
