England manager Thomas Tuchel has announced his squad for the upcoming UEFA Nations League matches against Croatia and Spain. The squad marks the first time Jobe Bellingham has been named alongside his older brother Jude Bellingham in the senior national setup. Other young players called up to the squad include Fulham's Josh King and Liverpool's Rio Ngumoha.
Several prominent Premier League players were left out of the selection, most notably Chelsea forward Cole Palmer and Manchester City's Phil Foden. Tuchel explained that Palmer has missed too many opportunities to impress at the international level following repeated withdrawals due to injury and fitness concerns.
