Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund initially met back in August in the Super Cup, with Vincent Kompany’s side coming out on top, but after seven games in the Bundesliga this season, they find thems…
Borussia Dortmund twice fought back from behind to secure a dramatic 2-2 draw against Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena on Saturday. Substitute Fabio Silva scored an 89th-minute equalizer after Serhou Guirassy also netted for the visitors to counter goals from Bayern's Konrad Laimer and Dayot Upamecano. The result leaves both German giants tied on 18 points at the top of the Bundesliga table.
The high-stakes Der Klassiker encounter also featured a rare missed penalty from Harry Kane, who had paraded his recent Ballon d'Or trophy prior to kickoff. Konrad Laimer opened the scoring for Vincent Kompany's Bayern side in the first half before Dortmund fought back late to snatch a point.
