2. Bundesliga preview: Hannover 96 vs. Dynamo Dresden

Hannover 96 host Dynamo Dresden at the Heinz von Heiden Arena on Sunday in a key bottom-of-the-table 2. Bundesliga clash. Both teams enter the match level on eight points from nine games, with Dresden sitting 15th and Hannover in 16th place. Hannover head coach Sandro Wagner remains in search of his first win since taking charge in September, having suffered consecutive 2-0 defeats to Eintracht Braunschweig in the league and Kaiserslautern in the DFB-Pokal.

Dynamo Dresden visit Lower Saxony aiming to build momentum after securing an impressive 2-0 DFB-Pokal victory over Schalke on Wednesday. However, Thomas Stamm's team faces ongoing challenges away from home, having earned just two points in five away league matches this season. Both squads have injury concerns, with Hannover missing Bastian Allgeier, Benedikt Pichler, Lars Gindorf, and Karl Steinmann, while Dresden remain without Lars Bünning, Lukas Boeder, and Kenneth Schmidt.
