Jan-Christian Dreesen says Bayern Munich want to discuss a potential contract extension with Michael Olise "when the time is right".

Bayern Munich CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen stated that the club wants winger Michael Olise to stay "for as long as possible." Speaking to Sport Bild, Dreesen indicated that Bayern intends to discuss a potential contract extension with Olise and his representatives when the time is right, adding that he believes the French international has the quality to win the Ballon d'Or in the future.
Olise originally joined Bayern Munich from Premier League side Crystal Palace in 2024 for a reported fee of €53 million and is under contract until 2029. Despite being linked with a transfer to Real Madrid during the summer, the attacker remained in Munich, where his market value has reportedly climbed to €180 million.
