Bayern Munich exec aims dig at Lamine Yamal over Ballon d’Or comments

Bayern Munich executive Max Eberl has responded to comments made by FC Barcelona winger Lamine Yamal regarding the Ballon d'Or. Yamal had implied that goals do not matter in the race for the award. Following Bayern Munich's dominant 7-0 victory over Union Berlin, Eberl and Union Berlin representatives suggested that Yamal's comments served as motivation for Bayern's attackers.

In the match, Michael Olise scored a hat-trick, Harry Kane secured a brace, and Jamal Musiala and Ismael Saibari each scored once. The report notes that Yamal's comments have put pressure on him to perform in Barcelona's upcoming match against Sevilla, as his performance will be heavily scrutinized in relation to his statements.
