Bayern Munich’s Luis Díaz overjoyed at making top 30 for Ballon d’Or, but harbors ambitions for more

Bayern Munich winger Luis Díaz has expressed his delight at being named in the top 30 nominees for the Ballon d'Or. The Colombian international is one of four Bayern Munich players to make the shortlist, alongside teammates Dayot Upamecano, Michael Olise, and Harry Kane. Díaz spoke of his pride in receiving the nomination and his desire to climb higher up the rankings in the future.

In an interview with Sky Germany's Kerry Hau, Díaz described making the list as a great achievement for his career, noting it is the second time he has been included. He emphasized his motivation to continue improving alongside his teammates to help Bayern Munich win trophies. While Olise and Kane are considered the club's main contenders for the award, Díaz remains focused on using the recognition as motivation.
