Bayern Munich ultras in the Allianz Arena's Südkurve displayed a tribute banner celebrating Harry Kane's 2026 Ballon d'Or victory prior to their 2-2 draw with Borussia Dortmund. The banner stated, "No showman, but a footballer as he should be. Congrats Harry!" Kane also participated in a pre-match presentation alongside his family and club executives, presenting his trophy while Bayern wore special-edition kits featuring gold flocking.

On the pitch, Bayern remained atop the Bundesliga table following the draw. Konrad Laimer and Dayot Upamecano scored for Bayern, while Serhou Guirassy and Fabio Silva equalized for Dortmund, with Silva striking in the 89th minute. Kane also hit the crossbar with a second-half penalty.
