FC Barcelona is reportedly interested in signing Bayern Munich winger Klara Bühl as she enters the final year of her contract. The 25-year-old Germany international has attracted attention from several top European sides, including clubs from England, according to a report from Bild. Bayern Munich now faces the prospect of losing the attacking player on a free transfer if she decides against signing an extension beyond next summer.
Bühl has spent six years with Bayern Munich, establishing herself as an integral contributor for both club and country. While the forward has yet to make a final decision regarding her future, Bayern Munich coach Alexander Straus is reportedly determined to keep her at the club. The German side hopes her long-standing relationship with the team will persuade her to stay despite mounting European interest.
