RB Leipzig attacker Brajan Gruda has withdrawn from the Germany squad for the upcoming international break due to an injury. The German Football Association confirmed on Monday that the 22-year-old sustained a strain to his lateral abdominal muscles during Leipzig's 2-0 defeat against Bayer Leverkusen on Sunday.
Gruda was initially selected as part of a 20-man squad scheduled to face Serbia at home and Greece away in October. Germany manager Klopp has not yet decided whether a replacement will be called up to the squad for the upcoming UEFA Nations League fixtures.
