Italy joined the teams qualified for the 2027 U21 Euros after their 5-1 win over Poland in Pescara.

Borussia Mönchengladbach defender Fabio Chiarodia played the full match as Italy secured qualification for the 2027 U21 Euros with a 6-2 victory against Poland in Pescara. Luca Koleosho and Cher Ndour built an early first-half lead for Italy, with Ndour later completing a brace alongside goals from Luca Lipani, Seydou Fini, and Luigi Cherubini. Daniel Mikołajewski and Jakub Zewlakow scored Poland's two goals.
Chiarodia, who played every minute in six of Italy's qualifying matches despite missing four due to injury, will now aim to make his first Bundesliga appearance under manager Alexander Blessin against Köln. The win secured Italy's spot in the finals hosted by Albania and Serbia alongside fellow qualifiers Croatia, Norway, Portugal, England, and France.
