The Story in 60 Seconds

Serge Gnabry has departed the Germany national team squad and will miss the upcoming match against Greece due to workload management. The 31-year-old Bayern Munich attacker recently captained Germany for the first time during a 2-0 victory over Serbia and has played in all three Nations League matches so far.

Manager Jürgen Klopp opted for a cautious approach because Gnabry only recently returned from an adductor injury suffered in April. Gnabry has not suffered a setback, and SV Elversberg's Felix Keidel has been called up to take his place in the squad in Thessaloniki.
