“Good for our confidence” – Ricken hails BVB’s win over Frankfurt

Borussia Dortmund managing director Lars Ricken praised the team's 1-0 Bundesliga victory over Eintracht Frankfurt, stating the result provides a crucial confidence boost ahead of upcoming fixtures. Substitute Maximilian Beier scored the decisive goal in the 80th minute with a long-range volley after an assist from fellow substitute Jobe Bellingham, sealing BVB's fifth league victory of the season.

The result temporarily lifted Dortmund into first place in the Bundesliga standings ahead of rivals Bayern Munich. The victory also ended a winless league run for Dortmund following consecutive draws against Werder Bremen and Union Berlin, providing positive momentum ahead of upcoming matches against Werder Bremen in the German Cup and Bayern in Der Klassiker.
