Harry Kane announces he’s “fairly close” to extending Bayern contract

Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane has revealed that he is close to signing a contract extension with the German club. Speaking on Wednesday, the 33-year-old forward stated that discussions are progressing well and that an official announcement regarding his future should be expected soon.

The proposed permanent extension would reportedly keep the England international at Bayern Munich until at least 2029, beyond his current deal expiring in 2027. Kane originally joined the Bavarian side from Tottenham in 2023 and noted his high comfort level with the team and coaching staff.
