“He will announce what happens next soon” – Former Bayern and Real Madrid star Alaba set to decide future

David Alaba is preparing to announce the next step in his career soon following the expiration of his contract with Real Madrid at the end of June. The 34-year-old former Bayern Munich defender is currently available as a free agent. His father and agent, George Alaba, confirmed to Kronen Zeitung that an announcement is approaching after receiving inquiries from clubs across the United States, Europe, and elsewhere.

George Alaba dismissed retirement rumors, stating that the defender will continue playing. While David Alaba has recently been linked with 1. FC Union Berlin and Club América, his father noted that a potential return to his former youth club Austria Vienna remains premature at this stage of his career.
