The Dutchman reflected back on a week full of hectic travels.

Borussia Dortmund midfielder Joey Veerman discussed the team's grueling travel schedule following their 2-1 Champions League victory over Sabah FK in Baku on Tuesday. The trip marked Dortmund's third straight away match across Europe, following fixtures against Bodo/Glimt in Norway and Union Berlin in the Bundesliga. Veerman noted that he managed only brief twelve-hour visits home to his family in the Netherlands between flights.
The victory ended a three-game winless stretch where Dortmund had failed to score against Bodo/Glimt and Union Berlin. Serhou Guirassy scored both goals for Dortmund, with Veerman providing the assist for the second. Veerman expressed satisfaction with the team's improved attacking display, though he emphasized that they must be more clinical and close out matches after Sabah threatened late in the game.
