Niko Kovac denies talks of ‘crisis’ ahead of Champions League tie with Sabah FK

Borussia Dortmund manager Niko Kovac has firmly dismissed suggestions of a crisis ahead of his side's Champions League match against Sabah FK in Baku. Despite entering a three-game winless streak since the international break, Kovac remains calm and emphasized that Dortmund's current situation is far better than when he took over the team in eleventh place.

Dortmund recently drew 2-2 with Werder Bremen, lost 1-0 to Bodo/Glimt, and drew 0-0 against Union Berlin. These results dropped them to second place in the Bundesliga on goal difference and 18th in the Champions League standings. However, Kovac, who recently extended his contract until June 2029, insisted his squad possesses the necessary quality to turn their form around immediately.
