The 17-year-old BVB starlet won a penalty for USMNT just minutes after coming on in their friendly match against Peru on Saturday.

Borussia Dortmund teenager Mathis Albert made his senior international debut for the United States men's national team in a friendly against Peru. Head coach Mauricio Pochettino brought the 17-year-old on in the 61st minute as a substitute for Giovani Reyna, with Albert earning a penalty just moments after entering the match.
Peru's Jesus Pretell fouled Albert near the edge of the penalty box, allowing Malik Tillman to convert from the spot and restore the lead. The USMNT added two more goals following the penalty to secure a 4-1 victory, drawing widespread praise from supporters on social media platform X.
