Serhou Guirassy and Fabio Silva offer promise of super strike partnership for Borussia Dortmund

Borussia Dortmund forwards Serhou Guirassy and Fabio Silva have formed an effective attacking partnership across recent matches. The duo helped spark a comeback from 2-0 down against Hoffenheim on Matchday 2, where Guirassy scored and then assisted Silva to level the score within five minutes of the substitute entering the pitch.

Manager Niko Kovac again brought Silva on as a substitute against Villarreal in the UEFA Champions League with the score tied 1-1. Silva promptly provided an assist for Guirassy, who netted twice on his 100th appearance for Borussia Dortmund to secure a 3-2 victory.
