Fresh from scoring the fastest goal in Bundesliga history after just eight seconds against Bayern Munich on Matchday 5, Augsburg’s Robin Fellhauer sat down to reflect on his remarkable feat.

Augsburg midfielder Robin Fellhauer reflected on setting a new Bundesliga record by scoring after just 8.4 seconds against Bayern Munich on Matchday 5. Fellhauer described the feat as very special, revealing that teammate Michael Gregoritsch first notified him of the record during an injury break in the match, which ultimately finished as a draw.
Fellhauer broke the previous joint-record held by Kevin Volland and Karim Bellarabi, both of whom sent congratulatory video messages. The strike marked Fellhauer's third goal in five appearances this season under manager Manuel Baum, matching his entire scoring tally from the previous campaign.
