U20 Elite League: Moerstedt’s excellent strike seals Germany’s winning start

Germany U20 opened their U20 Elite League campaign with a 1-0 victory over France. Max Moerstedt, captaining the side for the first time alongside Otto Stange in attack, scored the winning goal with less than 15 minutes remaining.

The victory extended Germany's winning streak in the competition to five games under manager Hannes Wolf. Germany is scheduled to conclude the international break with fixtures against Italy and England at Estadio Olímpico Camilo Cano before traveling to Poland and Czechia in November.
