Rangers and Celtic submit appeals against a ruling that they must play their next home Scottish Cup ties behind closed doors following scenes of disorder in last season's competition.

Celtic and Rangers are awaiting the outcome of their appeals to a Scottish FA tribunal over orders to play their next home Scottish Cup ties behind closed doors. Both Glasgow clubs presented their cases on Monday following sanctions imposed after disorder at last season's quarter-final match at Ibrox.
The clubs are also contesting £100,000 fines after pitch clashes involving fireworks and missiles led to injured police officers and 43 arrests. An independent review led by Mark Blackbourne found failings by both clubs, which subsequently agreed in September to ban away fans from all Old Firm derbies this season.
