The Story in 60 Seconds

Birmingham City manager Chris Davies believes his side has become a triple threat by scoring through open play, transitions, and set pieces following a clinical first-half display against Millwall. Alex Cochrane, Max Bird, and Jay Stansfield all found the net within the opening 30 minutes at St Andrew's to secure Birmingham's fifth win in six matches and lift them to second in the Championship.

With August Priske absent, Davies introduced a tactical switch by moving Stansfield to striker and Bird into the attacking midfield role. The tactical adjustment allowed Birmingham greater fluidity and transitional threat, while captain Christoph Klarer dominated Millwall forward Lyndon Dykes by winning 12 aerial duels.
